Speech Choir Piece: Civilization vs. Savagery

Humans, o humans
How good will all this be?
Are we all but lined in the power of God?
Or are we but flesh of the kingdom of hell?
O humans, we can all be an angel, seraphim, and cherubim
Yet we can be evil, worsening human
Who are we and what are we?
Is it all but an act of love?

La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la…..
Love. Kindness. Compassion. Generosity.
Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la…
Law and order
Symbol of a community
Strength of the nation
Guard of the society
We based upon acts and ordinances
Rules that promote peace and willingness towards every citizen
Made by citizens
Acted by the citizens
Respected by the citizens

No! There is no order!
No! There is no peace!
Everyone is evil! Everyone has an evil side!
We do evil when threatened
We kill for safety
We kill like Roger!
We rule like Jack!
Who is Roger? Who is Jack?
They practice savagery
They hunt for their own
Killing pigs like killing spree of humans
No!
There is no law because the law is weak!
And there is no peace because peace is fiction!

16 years after the bombing
In the last 2 months after the war
42 years after the torture
56 years after division has been embarked
45 years after savagery has spread throughout
And in the last 5 years of death & famine

People are civilized if they want
In every setting we have variety
We may love and we may care
We may give and we may conquer
We may kill and we may butcher
We may cry for pain and we may laugh for success

There is no law because the law is weak!

And there is no peace because peace is fiction!

Crime!
Sin!
Outrage!
Tyranny!
CRUELTY! CRUELTY! CRUELTY!
That is savagery!

But…
Progress.
Refinement.
Human Development.
Culture.
Society.
Nation.
That is civilization!
